Credit Valley Member Referral Appreciation Program

Our membership is built through personal connections and like-minded individuals who value the traditions and community of the Club.
To thank members who introduce prospective members who ultimately join the Club, we are pleased to offer the Credit Valley Member Appreciation Program.

 

Referral Recognition

Members who refer a successful applicant joining as a Full Member in 2026 will receive:

  • One ballot entry into a draw for a $5,000 Club Credit*

  • The credit may be applied toward:

    • All Food & Beverage including Catering/Private events, social events

    • All Golf Shop merchandise, Club Fittings, Carts, Golf Tournament Fees

    • Lessons/Club Programming

*Club credit may not be applied toward Annual Dues, Capital Dues, loan interest, or assessments.
 
The draw will take place at the Members’ Closing Gala on Friday, September 25, 2026, and the winner will be announced that evening and recognized in the Club’s magazine.
All members who successfully refer a new Full Member during the program will also be recognized in the Club’s magazine.

 

Who Can Refer

  • All voting golfing members in good standing

  • Membership must be active at the time of referral and when the new member is accepted

  • Social Members, Intermediate Members not paying initiation, and Junior Members are not eligible

 

Who Can Be Referred

Prospective members who:

  • Apply in the Full Golfing membership category

  • Meet the Club’s standard admission criteria

 

How the Referral Works

  1. The referring member submits the prospective member’s name to Membership Director, Teresa Fernandes, prior to the prospective member’s first contact with the Club.

  2. The prospective member proceeds through the standard membership process and lists the referring member as the proposer on their application.

  3. The referral is considered successful once:

    • The applicant is approved for membership

    • Initiation (deposit or full payment) is received within 30 days of approval

    • Annual Dues and Capital Dues are paid within 30 days of approval

    • Membership is activated

  4. One ballot entry will be issued for each successful Full Membership referral completed before September 24, 2026.

 

Additional Details

  • Only one referring member may be recognized per new member.

  • Referral entries are non-transferable.

  • The Club credit must be used while the member remains in active membership. Should the member leave the Club, the credit will not be paid out.

  • The Club reserves the right to decline applications that do not align with the Club’s values and admission standards.
